Position Summary
CVS is seeking a new Director to join the Promotion team that has been tasked with transforming the strategy, effectiveness, design and execution of promotions. This specific role would have end-to-end responsibility for delivering new innovations in CVS’s approach to promotion, starting from design through to implementation.
The position is expected to provide excellent exposure to management across CVS’s business as well as ongoing professional development. This role would suit someone with a strong interest in retail, a robust strategic background and a passion for delivering results.
Required Qualifications
Retail and/or Strategy Consulting experience: A minimum of two plus years of post MBA professional experience at a relevant retail company (e.g. Drug, Mass) or leading strategy consulting firm (e.g. Bain, BCG, McKinsey).
Preferred Qualifications
-Structured and Logical Thinking: the ability to dissect a problem into an organized approach and quickly form a hypothesis against which to run test analysis.
-Analytical Rigor: the ability to design and execute high impact quantitative analysis in a defect-free manner. Mastery of Microsoft Excel is critical to this role.
-Powerful Communication: the ability to communicate effectively and succinctly, both verbally and on paper. Mastery of Microsoft PowerPoint is critical to this role.
-Cross functional engagement: Highly developed relationship-building skills to impact and influence merchants and other cross functional partners of all levels
-Experience in promotions is strongly preferred.
