Job Summary:The IT eCommerce Director is responsible for leading the application development and product management functions for the core e-Commerce platform while evolving a holistic Omni-Channel experience for our customers, employees and partners. The Director will develop solutions to deliver on business and technology objectives. This position will also manage the implementation of the ePlatforms, related budget, timelines and scope for each phase of development and execution of the roadmap.

Primary Functions:
• Leads development and overall management of the organization's website and all digital commerce properties in order to achieve overall objectives.
• Work closely and partners with key business teams (Includes but is not limited to Marketing, Strategy, Store Operations, Information Technology, etc) to define the eCommerce strategy.
• Leads the application development and product management functions for our core eCommerce platform.
• Oversee the technical design and architectural framework for Ecommerce systems.
• Oversee the day to day operations and administration of the Ecommerce infrastructure.
• Orchestrates the cross-functional efforts within Marketing, Merchandising and Technology to capitalize on market opportunities. Builds collaborative, cross-functional partnerships with Marketing, Merchandising, Customer Support, and other key departments.
• Leads large-scale technical projects to upgrade the core eCommerce platform, improve and enhance internal systems integrations (SAP, etc.), implement omni-channel content management solution and product configuration.
• Oversee technical resources in the troubleshooting and resolution of Ecommerce hardware, software, connectivity issues.
• Works closely with leadership to evaluate feature sets, architectural alternatives and vendors.

• Recruits, mentors, builds and leads a cohesive team of internal and external personnel to effectively develop solutions
• Oversee technical resources in the troubleshooting and resolution of Ecommerce hardware, software, connectivity issues.
• Oversees the scheduling, control and progress of Ecommerce system design, development and installation activities.
• Customer Relationship Management - Develop trusted and open relationships with key Ecommerce business partners.
• Vendor Relationship Management - Works closely with and manages strategic Ecommerce vendor partner relationships.
• Conduct capacity monitoring and planning of the Ecommerce environment to ensure appropriate acquisition of IT resources to stay well ahead of channel growth in all its dimensions – traffic, customer acquisition, conversion, order volume, etc.
• Accountable for coordinating between internal and external resources, ensuring effective communication between all groups and individuals involved in Ecommerce projects.
• Lead all Ecommerce projects under the rules and guidelines of the Project Management Office (PMO), while ensuring all PMO documentation is produced to high standards.
• Own all interactions with third party auditors regarding ecommerce security, IT controls and privacy issues.
• Develop Ecommerce expense and capital budgets and stay within those budgets.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• 12+ years total hands on experience with eCommerce eco-system – personalization, content management, order management, analytics, etc.
• Major Ecommerce Platform experience required
• 5+ years of creative, strategic and online marketing experience, specifically with eCommerce, eMarketing, and management of online revenues.
• 7+ years’ experience in a managerial position in a technology group
• Knowledge of PCI, DSS and (Sarbanes Oxley SOX) compliancy
• Extensive working knowledge of various monitoring, operational, provisioning, performance, support environments and tools such as Akamai, New Relic, and other 3rd party tools
• Ability to lead a team of 3-4 developers, including UX/UI experience in developing enhancements to the existing web site and future digital properties.
• Ability to guide and mentor team members in their careers which will allow them to continue to grow both technically and professionally.
• Ability to build and grow the existing relationship with our stakeholders to ensure transparency and consistency in the products and messages we deliver to the ecommerce experiences.
Computer Skills / Special Equipment Knowledge:
• Advanced knowledge of Java, LINUX/UNIX, MS SQL Server, Web Design, Groovy, SVN, Eclipse, Hibernate, Spring Framework, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
• Familiarity with IT operations supporting SAP systems a plus
• Demonstrated experience in systems architecture and design and project management methodologies
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree required (MIS/CIS degree preferred)
