Position Summary
The Senior Advisor of Pricing Innovation plays a lead role in achieving CVS Health’s goal of being a premier healthcare innovation company, while also driving financial results. In this role, you will provide strategic guidance and financial analysis supporting the creation and success of Enterprise-wide products and solutions. In addition, you will conduct a variety of financial research projects in reaction to marketplace events as well as to research new pricing strategies.
The role requires working as part of a collaborative team with a variety of internal partners as solutions are conceived, developed, and rolled out. At each stage of development, you will be responsible for quantifying the financial impact of proposed strategies, and providing guidance that ensures the solutions are effective in the marketplace while driving value for both our clients and CVS Health. Potential solutions include Network, Utilization Management, Clinical, Pricing Strategies, Risk-based and Formulary strategies.
As Senior Advisor of Pricing Innovation, some of the key insights you will provide include impact to PBM and Enterprise margin, rebates and guarantees, and bid effectiveness. Through a combination of your own business knowledge, and engaging thought leaders and experts across the business, you will guide the strategy on each solution to maximize CVS Health profitability and its utility to our clients. In addition, you will help prepare the Underwriting department and related groups for the launch of the new solutions, including communication, process development, model updates, and training.
Required Qualifications
5 years of experience building financial models, working with data sets or related data experience.
Preferred Qualifications
5 years of healthcare and/or PBM experience.
Proficient in the use of SAS and Excel
Education
Bachelor Degree (Required)
Advanced Degree including MBA/MPH or Finance (Preferred)
