Position Summary
Do you want to make an impact in your next finance role? There is no better place than as an Underwriting Rebate Forecasting, Senior Manager in our Client Financial Analysis and Proposals department. We are looking for someone who will be responsible for leading a team in Irving, Texas that creates, manages and reviews PBM rebate forecast estimates for current and prospective clients.
As part of the Rebate Forecast team, you will:
-Collaborate with internal partners in support of developing rebate forecasts, including Analytic Consulting Services, Underwriting, Sales, Clinical Advisers, and Product teams
-Coach, train, mentor, hire, and lead a team of rebate forecast analysts
-Provide consultation to team and internal partners
-Assign work and lead deadlines across team
-Develop and implement processes to ensure accuracy of rebate forecasts
-Support enterprise goals and special projects as assigned
-Contribute to development and implementation of new rebate forecast model
-Grow and maintain knowledge of PBM products and services, and the overall healthcare landscape
Up to 10% travel may be required. Position can be located anywhere in the US close to a CVS office location.
Required Qualifications
-Minimum 8 years of professional experience financial analysis, strategic and/or financial consulting border
-3 years of experience in SAS or other statistical and database software
-2 years working in a geographically diverse organization.
Preferred Qualifications
-Extensive experience in a position requiring problem solving, problem analysis and creative solution skills.
-Ability to interact with all level of management, including VPs and executives.
-Experience in leading and managing a diverse group of analysts while also providing them coaching and mentoring.
-Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and follow up skills.
-Ability to collaborate with others in a professional manner and help cultivate teamwork and knowledge sharing to complete key tasks.
-Ability to appropriately prioritize competing requests to ensure focus on the highest impact activities.
-Experience with strategy and handling details.
-Aptitude to communicate complex analytic findings and conclusions in an easy to understand way.
-Prior experience or knowledge of pharmaceuticals or health care industry.
-Strong presentation and communication skills with experience presenting to and fielding questions from executives.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, finance, statistics, actuarial science or other data related field.
