Icahn Automotive Group (IAG) is looking for a Director of Integrated Marketing to serve as a key contributor to the development of IAG's strategic planning process across multiple brands. This person will directly manage marketing activities that promote and enhance brand reputation; he/she will serve as a leader of cross-functional teams to drive an integrated marketing offense.
This position will take a leadership role in the execution of Pep Boys' Go-to-Market planning for initiatives that promote brand strength, fuel consumer demand, and strengthen the connection to consumers. He/she will contribute to the development of strategy, implementation, and evaluation of plans for category and seasonal marketing initiatives. The position must work cross-functionally with Retail & Service Operations, Communications, Merchandising, and others, as well as across brands such as Auto Plus, AAMCO, Precision Tune, and various key vendors.
This position will report into the Vice President of Integrated Marketing and Communications and is based in Philadelphia, PA.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in driving the Go-to-Market development process from planning to execution with integration across marketing functions
• Develop regular marketing plans and briefs and complete the fieldwork, research, and recaps needed for holistic programs.
• Be the expert of the consumer and subject matter across specific product categories and brands
• Develop, integrate, and implement a broad range of activities that leverage storytelling content across digital marketing, social media, public relations, CRM, eCommerce, experiential marketing, etc.
• Direct and work with Merchandising and Retail and Service Operations teams to develop and implement plans against key business initiatives, customer service strategies, and category campaigns
• Collaborate with Marketing and Communications team members to deliver successful Marketing programs garnering extensive media coverage in top broadcast, print, and digital outlets
• Direct and manage agencies to support category initiative; must execute on-strategy and on-budget
• Drive a cross-functional task force that leads active and reactive positions on reputational management issues.
• Lead the compilation of campaign analytics and reporting across all integrated marketing touchpoints
• Manage budgets and other duties assigned by supervisor
Skills, Experience, Qualifications and Certifications:
• Bachelors Degree and 10+ years of B2C marketing experience
• Established relationships at all levels, inclusive of the executive level, in the global marketing industry
• Prior experience working for a multi-brand company with a strong identity and distinct culture. Experience working for either a start-up or high-growth organization is a plus.
• Proven leadership skills in managing a strong, experienced, and diverse team
• Significant executive presence, confidence, and preparedness to be able to meet and engage with highest level of executives. Experience conducting business and partnering with staff in multiple regions is a plus.
• Brand-side agency management experience
• Superior written and verbal communication skills and strong knowledge of current media landscape
• Proven track record of working effectively in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to work independently and show initiative
• The drive and stamina to manage and lead multiple large-scale projects simultaneously
• Proficient utilizing Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point
