Job Description
Director of Marketing
Reporting to the SVP of Marketing, the Director of Marketing oversees the strategy and execution of all Tuesday Morning digital marketing and loyalty initiatives. This role ensures the marketing team and agency partners provide flawless execution of marketing, store and merchant initiatives to support sales growth at Tuesday Morning.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Assists in the development of strategies and tactics to drive traffic and sales to the 700+ Tuesday Morning store locations
• Develops and maintains the integrated marketing calendar
• Oversees the company’s email programs: responsible for subscriber growth and increasing the sophistication of our email efforts to drive customer frequency and spend
• Manages the website content calendar and execution through external partners
• Oversees the execution of all digital media programs
• Manages the Tuesday Morning Perks loyalty program
• Partners closely with creative team, marketing operations, and merchant team, as well as external agency partners and vendors
• Prepares and communicates marketing updates, rollouts and analyses
• Assists in managing budgets and project timelines
Qualifications:
• Retail experience preferred, digital marketing experience required
• 7+ years of marketing experience
• Previous experience leading a team
Education and/or Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
Leadership/Supervisory Responsibilities
• Optimize team dynamics and foster a productive work environment through leadership and collaboration
• Manage and develop team of direct and/or indirect reports
Other Skills & Abilities
• Ability to multi-task and quickly manage shifting priorities
• Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills
• Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills are essential for this position
Work Environment and Physical Demands
• Sits at desk; uses computers, copiers, phone, and other office equipment
• Ability to lift furniture and boxes up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to Travel (limited)
