Position Summary
The Director Analytics will provide the strategic vision, leadership, oversight and management for “best-in-class” analysis and reporting of clinical outcomes from claims and survey data. The Director will interact with senior management, present to outside organizations including clients and relevant associations
and ensure that the analytic needs of the company are represented and forwarded with highest standards of ethical and professional conduct.
Responsibilities include:
1. Provides strategic vision necessary to effectively lead the company in creating “best in class” clinical, operational, and process analytics and reporting
2. Effectively interacts with senior management, outside consultants, other employees and any other persons to forward and represent the needs of the department according to the highest ethical and professional standards
3. Ensures that all areas of Analytics function so as to meet external and internal ongoing and one-time time commitments including but not limited to monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc reporting. Effectively communicates outcomes to internal and external customers, associations and other relevant audiences.
4. Oversees development of dashboard reports that function to provide all areas of the company including clinical operations and account management with necessary insights into current results and trends related to key financial and clinical metrics.
5. Oversees development of necessary databases to support all functions within analytics.
6. Oversees efforts to indentify clinical educational opportunities, disease complications and other metrics which can be measured and tracked and whose impact will result in measurable cost savings and improved quality of life for members
7. Creates internal visibility around Analytics as a means of optimizing program impact and provides leadership to a team of employees.
Education
Bachelor Degree is required.
