We are looking for a talented, high-performing SEO leader to join our Digital Technology team in San Francisco, CA.
About the Role
You will be a key member of the Digital Technology leadership team that is responsible for conceptualizing, designing and delivering impactful strategies to drive natural search traffic for our entire portfolio of brand websites.
This integral role will lead a talented team of SEO product managers, analysts, and technologists and drive results in the increasingly competitive SEO channel.
The right candidate will have a strong technical and analytical background, many years of related experience with SEO strategy and tactics, and great people management skills. The role requires a fluid and collaborative communication style and an appreciation for the strength and legacy of our brands.
Responsibilities
• Lead, develop, and grow a high-performing team of SEO professionals.
• Own the definition, prioritization and scope of SEO initiatives, in partnership with product, technology, and brand stakeholders.
• Serve as a liaison between brand and technology leadership teams to advocate, educate, and ensure our SEO strategy delivers value and growth for our business.
• Develop a multi-faceted approach to quantitative measurement of SEO performance and a testing strategy to ensure our efforts help us reach our intended targets.
• Maintain relationships with third party vendors and negotiate fair agreements with the best interests of WSI in mind.
• Perform other duties as required.
We believe this is an exciting opportunity, working on initiatives of significant opportunity and scale. You'll be in the middle of the action -- the eCommerce channel is at the core of WSI's growth (52% of company sales) and will continue to fuel our success.
You will have the chance to work at the pace of a start-up with the resources of a $5 billon company. We want you to bring creative ideas to the table and work with our teams to execute them to completion.
We have a talented SEO team that is positioned to become ever more impactful with an experienced, forward-thinking leader at the helm. We get to work closely with great brands and an industry-leading marketing team. We also have an experienced leadership team that wants to do it right and is open to new ideas.
Of course, we pay a competitive salary with a comprehensive benefits package. And we get an awesome discount on products from all of our brands.
