Summary
The Director, Replenishment The Director, Replenishment is a key leadership position reporting to the Vice President of Merchandise Planning and Inventory Management and is responsible for the management of inventory for Basic, Fashion & Seasonal product at the store level for the entire scope of JOANN’s Merchandise Assortment. This position leads, trains and develops a team of Replenishment Managers and Replenishment Analysts to deliver to the Customer the Merchandise assortment and strategy. Core responsibilities of the Replenishment Team include hindsight analysis, store volume grouping, fashion/seasonal allocation strategies, and basic in stock management. Partners with GMMs/DMMs and Director of Planning to ensure the plans and actions support the company’s financial targets and objectives.
Scope
• Partner with Senior Leaders on Strategic Initiatives driving ability to deliver JOANN performance objectives.
• Development and Training of Replenishment Managers, Replenishment Analysts and Optimization Analysts in core fundamentals of replenishment and allocation activities, New Hire Onboarding, and Process Improvement Rollouts. Develop and communicate performance goals, evaluate performance, and provides timely constructive feedback.
• Accountable for all forecasting, replenishment, and allocation activities, including: Ensure division DC service level and store in-stock targets are achieved. Ensure fashion and seasonal allocation tactics support sell through targets. Facilitate communication flow between merchants, distribution, store operations, and store merchandising to ensure optimal product flow. Ensure Joann.com in-stock targets are achieved.
• Accountable for defining, implementing, and improving processes and systems for inventory management, including: replenishment and allocation.

• Provide ad hoc analytical support and financial analysis to support business decisions.
Education Requirements
• Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Merchandising, Finance, Business, Marketing, Statistics, or Communication.
• Preferred: MBA.
Experience Requirements
• Minimum: 6+ Relevant retail experience required in Inventory Management across Merchandise Planning, Replenishment & Allocation and Merchandising. 5+ years of leadership experience.
• Preferred:10+ Relevant retail experience required in Inventory Management across Merchandise Planning, Replenishment & Allocation and Merchandising. 5+ years of leadership experience.

• MS Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access), Retail Business systems (e.g. SAP Retail, JDA Planning, JDA Demand & Fulfillment, or comparable systems).
