As part of the Starbucks Partner Resources (HR) Global Business Enablement team, the PMO Director plays an integral role focusing on the successful delivery of a portfolio of projects – with a heightened focus on initiatives that transform HR service delivery. This team leads global projects that simplify business processes and delivers new HR services through technology solutions and ultimately evolves the role of partners, managers and HR practitioners. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced and high demand environment and can influence globally across functions within a highly matrixed organization.
Leveraging your previous experience, we will enable you to:
• HR/HRIS Business Consultation – collaborate with Partner Resources leaders and cross functional management teams to understand enterprise business problems and partner needs. Provide thought leadership to determine how to deliver streamlined processes, technology solutions that enable the end to end hire-to-retire experience.
• Portfolio Leadership – manage a global roadmap of program and project deliverables, IT components that are country specific or enterprise-wide. Influence the prioritization and sequencing of HRIS work. Provide subject-matter expertise in program and project management practices as well as product management.
• Change Leadership – develop and drive change management strategies for large global initiatives to ensure results have the greatest impact on the organization and achieve strong adoption.
• Communication – build relationships with leaders at all levels and maintain clear channels of communication with stakeholders and project team members to negotiate priorities and manage risks. Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
• People Leadership– Directly manage partners to successfully deliver outcomes while enabling each partner to realize their unique potential. Coach and share your perspective, experience and expertise to improve the work of others
We’d love to hear from people with:
• Ten years project, program and portfolio management
• Ten years of functional area experience in human resources
• Five years of application of industry-based systems development life cycle, project and product management methodologies (e.g., Scrum and Waterfall)
• Five years of integrated business and system process analysis and design and into effective business solutions
• Five years of leading change management initiatives
