JOB SUMMARY
As a member of the strategic human resources management team and working as a strategic partner with all corporate leaders, the Sr. Director, Corporate Recruiting plans, develops and implements the organization’s leadership level staffing strategy and acts as a consultant to the business functional leaders. The Sr. Director plans, directs, or coordinates complex projects impacting multiple departments within the organization.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide organization with a continuously refreshed inventory of top tier leaders and executives in industry and other identified best in class companies
Specialize capability to support functional needs of organization
Provide competitive intelligence output on key positions, including structure, organizational models and compensation practices
Support functional workforce planning strategy
Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement staffing plan to support strategic initiatives and objectives ensuring adequate bench strength for organizational growth
Coordinate and work with HR business partners and functional leaders to develop and maintain the organization’s succession planning
Act as an internal consultant to senior corporate leaders to develop and improve staffing process
Develop relationships with senior management team in order to serve as primary source for executive recruiting process management
Function as a primary facilitator and driver of senior level executive searches with focus on creating a value strategy for executive search staffing model
Establish criteria for selecting key search partner relationships in order to create a preferred provider list with subsequent management of search team/partners
Supervise major human resources and staffing projects to include overall plan, implementation and assigned personnel, both internal and external to improve leadership acquisition and resource planning
Control budget and expenditures related to function
Responsible for respective department’s overall performance and for motivating team to exceed department goals and objectives
Evaluate the organization's technology use and needs and recommend improvements, such as hardware and software, ATS, website design, social media tools and equipment necessary to create a world class executive staffing function
Serve as consultant in mentoring the Talent Acquisition/Recruiting Staff to establish professionalism throughout all levels of the organization and promote the company branding initiative
OTHER RELATED DUTIES
Responsible for understanding and complying with all policies, procedures, and regulations relating to job duties.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, Organization Development or equivalent work experience required;
• Extensive experience (7+ years) interacting with senior executives
• Minimum of at least three years in a similar position, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Demonstrated technical aptitude in all aspects of recruiting strategy creation with outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated success in multi-location company with high numbers of entry-level employees
• Demonstrated proficiency of sound techniques in all aspects of HR staffing functions with particular emphasis on executive recruitment, technological advances, new market research capabilities and succession planning
• Proven ability to develop long-term plans and programs with proven ability to lead, coach and develop executive recruiting team in both strategy and tactics
• Must have experience in continuous improvement methods with demonstrated skill in goal setting and performance improvement in order to evaluate work accomplishments
• Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, to prioritize and work in a multi-tasked environment
• Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule
• Proficient personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a team fostered environment
