Job Description
JOB SCOPE:
Responsible for leading and overseeing all digital marketing execution across all formats (Sears, Kmart, Online), including Digital Channels, Paid Search, SEO and PLA's
JOB SUMMARY: The Sr Dir, Digital Marketing leads the strategy, development, and delivery of digital marketing campaigns across SEM and SEO. This position supports the implementation and management of a clear, simplified, data-driven engagement model that enhances member and customer experience
Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manages third-party partnerships and agencies, including implementation, day-to-day operations, and optimization
• Oversees the development and implementation of digital strategies to drive incremental visits and revenue to Sears and Kmart.com
• Analyzes and evaluates both existing and potential digital marketing activities and strategies across all digital channels
• Oversees the conduct, gathering, and analysis of market research to determine digital opportunities and competitiveness
• Identifies, interprets, and capitalizes on digital marketing trends
• Works closely with SHC Business Units to ensure tight integration of all digital marketing programs and initiatives
• Develops unique value propositions, business partnerships, and digital marketing programs; implements improvements as required
• Performs supervisory functions, including but not limited to making employment decisions regarding hiring, promoting, demoting and terminating, conducing performance appraisals and coaching and developing associates
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Over 10 years of progressive marketing and/or eCommerce leadership experience
• Significant experience in digital marketing in an organization of significant scale and complexity
• Superior depth of knowledge of digital channels, including search, mobile, social media, eCommerce, and analytics
• Leadership experience and accustomed to managing cross-functional teams collaboratively
• Prior experience leading direct teams - setting direction, managing workloads, coaching, and developing talent
• Passion for understanding the member mindset, keeping up with media and technology trends; exceptional member insight skills and the ability to provide and translate insights into business results
• Excellent communication skills (written, presentation, and verbal)
• Ability to influence across multiple groups and levels of the organization
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills with strong execution capabilities
• Objective, transparent, and constructive when managing conflict
