Director, Marketing - Digital Products

Westfield’s strategy is to develop and own superior retail destinations in major cities by integrating food, fashion, leisure, and entertainment and by using technology to better connect retailers with consumers. We are pioneering the consumer experience with the convergence of digital and physical environments. We are currently building our marketing team and have created this role to support a broad range of our marketing efforts. This position will be based at our Century City corporate office.
The Director, Digital Product Marketing will partner with the Digital Marketing, Center Marketing and Information Technology teams to understand and identify high-potential guest segments from across Brick & Mortar, Online, Mobile, Email and App channels. The Director, Digital Product Marketing will bring deep experience with audience segmentation to expand Westfield’s direct-to-consumer engagement capabilities. The Director will help lead digital transformation and personalization efforts to drive improved ROI and our goal of individualized marketing to target audience.
Key areas of responsibility:
• Partner with in-house research and analytics teams to identify current opportunities and challenges
• Draw learnings and develop action plans with a clear goal of converting more browsers to shoppers
• Create testing and channel optimization strategies to a segment driven and multichannel engagement program, influencing and partnering with internal and external teams to navigate strategy and execution
• Identify opportunities to acquire customer data to build on a 360 degree view of current and potential guests
• Utilize marketing tactics and testing to further boost qualified traffic and increase marketing ROI
• Continuously measure (against key performance indicators) and improve the effectiveness of the marketing activity through analysis of campaign results, consumer insights and best practice benchmarks
• Analytical thinker with a depth of knowledge in digital analytics, campaign tracking and ROI metrics
• Demonstrated project management skills with ability to develop and implement marketing strategies and assess marketing performance in a cross functional environment
• Strong leadership and people management skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Excellent client-management, communication (verbal and written) and analytical skills
Qualifications:
• 6-8 years’ experience e-commerce, marketing or multi-channel retail roles
• Demonstrated problem solving and leadership ability
• BA/BS required
• Internet and research savvy; strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong analytical skills, enjoys interpreting the story from data
• Knowledge of the key social media platforms
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Experience in Google Analytics, social media publishing and analytics tools, email platforms and CMS platforms
