Position Description
Walmart is hiring a Director - Change, Training and Collaboration to join their International Strategic Initiatives team. As a member of this organization, you will have the opportunity to work on projects and programs that serve over 11,000 retail units in 28 countries around the world. More specifically, in this leadership role you will influence, design and deliver transformational change, training, and collaboration (CTC) activities for International’s Indirect Spend Management technology deployment. You will apply your skills in leadership, communication, and influence to work cross-functionally across a broad array of internal clients and external partners, responsible for leading both direct and indirect resources including training and change management activities with external technology partners. • Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics
• Defines, develops, and documents change management processes and impact initiative programs across Walmart International and/or the Walmart Enterprise by, creating foundational implementation plans, documentation, and training materials; facilitating project teams to determine specific behaviors necessary for driving sustainable business benefits of change programs; leading education and awareness initiatives for senior leadership; and executing continuous improvement cycles based on feedback from stakeholders.
• Develops and directs the implementation and support for change management strategy and impact initiatives across Walmart International and/or the Walmart Enterprise under the direction of senior leadership by, assessing key opportunities (for example, implementation history, change agent capacity, change sponsorship); communicating change management plans to senior management; leveraging resources to implement strategies through cross-functional teams; identifying and leading resolution of opportunities for process improvements (for example, training, documentation); and aligning activities with overall plans to ensure successful change management implementation.
• Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce
• Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals
• Oversees a portion of the department budget and profit and loss (P&L) by, forecasting resource needs and expenses for personnel, travel, and other variable items; monitoring actual expenses versus budget; and making adjustments as necessary.
• Oversees and directs needs analysis to identify areas that require support in driving change by, developing processes and overseeing implementation of projects that create high impact targeting areas identified in needs analysis; developing reporting strategies and key performance indicators (KPIs); and monitoring the reporting of progress and performance tracking that is used for project status communication and reviews with senior leadership.
• Oversees transfer of change management capabilities to all parts of the business by, identifying and preparing potential future change management resources; creating and directing the delivery of training for diverse stakeholders (for example, change agents, senior leadership); establishing metrics to assess change management skill levels; and ensure quality and competent team members for future initiatives.
