Position Description
• Champions the merchandise financial planning strategy for a business segment
• Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics
• Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce
• Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals
• Directs merchandise planning team in the planning and execution of the financial management for business segment (for example, Home and Apparel, Technology and Entertainment, Grocery and Beverage)
• Oversees and drives the financial plan for a business segment (for example, Home and Apparel, Technology and Entertainment, Grocery and Beverage)
• Provides overall direction
• Sets financial expectations for business segment (for example, Home and Apparel, Technology and Entertainment, Grocery and Beverage)
Minimum Qualifications
2 years of supervisory experience.
Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Retail Management, Economics, Business Management, or related field and 4 years experience in merchandise planning, category management, buying, replenishment, finance, or related field OR 5 years experience in merchandise planning, category management, buying, replenishment, finance, or related field.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
3 years experience working with profit and loss (P&L) statements.
4 years experience in Walmart or Sam's Club finance, internal audit, merchandising, replenishment, or related field.
4 years of supervisory experience.
Master s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Retail Management, Economics, Business Management, or related field.
