Position Description
• Strategy and vision for multiple categories with few complexities

In-stock & Capacity Management
• Analyzes inventory levels and develops a replenishment strategy based on current sales trends for multiple moderately-to-highly complex categories
• Forecasts future sales trends and adjusts replenishment strategies to account for foreseeable changes in orders to effectively utilize all inventory
Establishes global performance measurements and reports for use across the corporation to ensure optimal inventory levels at each stocking location for multiple moderately-to-highly complex categories
Order Execution
• Works closely with business leaders across the organization to improve ordering processes and maximize effectiveness
• Oversees decisions to adjust orders to maintain thresholds for multiple moderately-to-highly complex categories
• Reviews inventory levels and leads team in appropriate actions to maintain service levels and thresholds for moderately-to-highly complex categories
• Leads and implements solutions to optimize ordering approach for moderately-to-highly complex categories
Serves as the highest level content resource regarding Order Model logic
Delivery
• Manages the strategic delivery process for multiple moderately-to-highly complex categories
• Monitors KPIs (e.g., OnTimeShipment/ Pickup and OnTimeDelivery) for multiple moderately-to-highly complex categories
• Develops and implements strategic solutions to optimize delivery process and provide a better product delivery experience
Vendor Performance
• Collaborates with key vendors to drive improvements on key metrics, such as fill rate, lead time and out of stock for moderately-to-highly complex categories
Supports category teams with vendor selection by defining the performance needs for multiple moderately-to-highly complex categories
Fulfillment Center Support
• Partners with fulfillment center and other leaders within Walmart to optimize service levels and capacity planning
Develops solutions to recurring issues within the fulfillment center based on knowledge of external market and associated trends
Collaboration
Partners with multiple category GMs and/or Super GM to build and execute the plans and actions to support the categories’ and company’s financial targets and objectives
People Development
• Ensures associates are receiving learning and development opportunities (e.g. training, mentoring) for the good of the associate and Walmart
• Coaches team members and provides feedback to enhance skills, knowledge and work performance
• Mentors less experienced associates, managers and directors

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree
• 8+ years of relevant experience
