Position Description
• Assists senior departmental leadership in directing the execution of state giving councils
• Collaborates with departmental senior management to develop messaging and implement multi-channel media strategies to drive and enhance company reputation
• Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics
• Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce
• Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals
• Directs business growth opportunities for a geographic business unit (GBU)
• Directs political strategies for geographic business unit (GBU) region(s) and/or high-priority urban market(s) under the guidance of senior management
• Manages selection and performance of Public Affairs and Government Relations suppliers (for example, lobbyist and media consultants, polling and public affairs firms, trade and business associations)
• Provides overall direction
• Represents company's regulatory, compliance, and policy positions and initiatives to external groups
