Position Description
• The Associate Digital Experience - Mobility team is looking for a candidate with an infrastructure and mobility background to further improve the user experience, security, scalability, and optimization of mobile technologies.
• Responsible for the operational responsibilities of supporting Walmart's stores, clubs, and distributions on a global scale.
• Responsible for a diverse device portfolio on a very large scale to continue to meet the needs of Walmart and their customers.
• Coordinate device O/S and configuration changes with the end users and other system areas.
• Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in this field and apply this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans while ensuring technology roadmaps are incorporated into hardware and software platforms.
• Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Mentors and develops other associates.
• Provide guidance and training to L1 and L2 support areas.
• Ability to switch between multiple tasks
• Ability to document and teach others about newly implemented solutions
• Ability to communicate effectively with peers and business partners
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field and 3 years experience in information technology or related field within the last 7 years OR 5 years experience in information technology or related field within the last 7 years.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
• Proficient in at least 1 programming language (Java, C# .NET, Perl, Python preferred)
• Understanding of mobile operating systems (iOS and Android)
• Intermediate understanding of client-server architectures and distributed networks
• Understanding of wireless (802.11) communication standards and TCP/IP protocols
• 4 years experience in production support, including problem identification, ticket documentation, and customer and vendor relations
• 4 years experience troubleshooting and recommending technical solutions
