Position Summary
CVS Health is looking for a talented and agile leader to enhance our understanding of the consumer as well as the effectiveness of marketing on our business. The Senior Manager of Marketing Analytics will join a Customer Analytics team that enhances the corporate understanding of the CVS Pharmacy ® retail customer and measures marketing initiatives across the retail front store, pharmacy and clinic. This newly created role will be responsible for leading a small team of analysts in measuring and optimizing the return on our retail marketing investments in traditional and digital media. The ideal candidate will have an advanced analytics background with experience in retail or healthcare.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and develop a team of 3 – 5 marketing analysts in supporting the organization’s understanding of marketing’s impact on sales
• Devise robust marketing measurement plans in collaboration with Marketing, Media and our agency partners
• Analyze social, digital and search data to help develop benchmarks, optimization strategies and recommendations
• Partner with marketing strategists to evaluate business questions and propose analytical solutions that provide actionable insights on customer behavior and/or marketing efficacy
• Recommend and execute analytic solutions that enable a more complete understanding of the impact of marketing on consideration, engagement and sales
• Create and deliver impactful presentations for mid-level and senior-level audiences
• Leverage loyalty and transactional data to identify business opportunities and support a deeper understanding of
customer behavior
• Oversee the development of reporting that enables enhanced decision making by internal teams
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or related field;
5 or greater years working in analytics with a track record of delivering insights and business impact
3 or greater years experience with advanced analytic techniques, such as marketing mix, predictive modeling, multivariate regression analysis and ROI measurement
3 or greater years of experience using data analysis and visualization tools such as SAS, SPSS, R, Python, SQL, and Tableau
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to handle multiple, complex projects in a deadline-driven environment High levels of self-motivation and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in data science, marketing analytics or business analytics field is preferred
- Previous experience managing others is preferred
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or related field; Advanced degree in data science, marketing analytics or business analytics field is preferred
