Drives innovation in the hardlines category of product, from design through sourcing/manufacturing
Understands levers for driving sales on an eCommerce platform and strategically uses the correct levers to impact and grow the business
Project manages new brand and product development
Develops relationships with the supplier community to produce high-quality brands and products
Analyzes internal and external data to develop 5 star-rated products
Increases profitability by understanding unit economics and optimizing development to support goals
Manages and develops a product development specialist in the hardlines category.
Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
Minimum Qualifications
6-8 years' experience in merchandising, product development or a related business
Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
Ability to think strategically but also execute on a tactical level
Experience managing direct reports
Passion for the hardlines categories of business
Additional Preferred Qualifications
MBA
Direct category experience in hardlines, particularly in a merchandising/buying function
Experience in sourcing product from manufacturers
Project Management experience
Experience in eCommerce
