Director, Digital Marketing - Lithia Motors Inc.

Support the retail automotive digital storefronts for 160+ Lithia Motors, Inc. stores nationwide.
Lead a team of Digital Analysts and website experts to help stores attain the best digital ROI in the industry.
Inspire people to innovate digital strategies that 1. attract more customers to our stores, 2. improve our customer’s experience 3. increase our store’s productivity. Collaborate with other Lithia leaders to support Human Resources, Operations and Lithia Direct Sales with their digital channel activities.

Experience with website platforms, digital media channels, social media and marketing analysis is required. Knowledge of the automotive industry and retail operations is beneficial.
This role reports to Lithia’s Chief Marketing Officer.
Job Description:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES
Lead strategic thinking on how to leverage technology to improve our customers’ experience and our stores’ productivity.
• Understand future customer needs and wants.
• Consult knowledge experts inside and outside our industry.
• Understand current and developing technologies, including integration with store DMS platforms.
• Have a revolutionary (not evolutionary) mindset.
Lead e-retail innovations that help us execute an omni-channel strategy
• Leverage store expertise to develop solutions that are responsive to local market needs and are a competitive advantage.
Supervise Store Website Support Team (IRC)
• Lead internal team and external partners across numerous website platforms to provide best-in-class customer experiences and website conversions.
Supervise purchase and execution of digital media channels (SEO, SEM, Display, re-targeting, Social)
• Oversee $50MM-$75MM in contracts with external partners to achieve industry-best rates and service for our stores.
Supervise Marketing Measurement/ROI
• Continue development of marketing dashboard to provide stores with ROI data to guide marketing investment decisions.
Lead Social Media Strategy including reputation management and Social as media channel
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS/EXPECTATIONS
• Meet and exceed individual objectives developed with Supervisor.
• Lead direct reports to provide exceptional support to stores .
• Partner with stores and support services team members throughout the organization.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Four-Year College degree required
• Sufficient experience in automotive / digital technology to be regarded as a credible expert.
• 5-7 years management experience effectively leading team members.

Lithia Minimum Hiring Requirements
• Four-Year College Degree from an accredited institution.
• 18 years or older
• Possess a driver’s license in your state of residence
• Pass a motor vehicle report
• Pass a 7-year criminal background check
