Director - Digital Marketing
General Summary:
The Interactive Marketing Director is responsible for the development and execution of online marketing campaigns, the creative development process and site analysis across all performance metrics. He/she partners with cross functional teams to ensure marketing efforts align with overall business strategies, and with external partners to maximize program returns.
Position Responsibilities:
• Direct and manage key marketing partnerships and strategies (e.g.: Search, Affiliate, Email, Viral Marketing, Blogs).
• Manage the analytics of the web site; make recommendations and implement plans to test initiatives and maximize ROI.
• Own the brand’s online presence; manage and coordinate online creative / content development; ensure alignment of all web and store initiatives to promote one brand, one voice.
• Coordinate and partner with creative, merchandising, operations and business development to maximize traffic and conversion rates.
• Lead initiatives to understand, segment and profile the online consumer.
• Set budget and priorities for web marketing activities.
• Partner with Ecommerce to manage the user experience and merchandising of the website including visual merchandising, site navigation and shopability, content development, transaction processing and promotion management.
• Develop, analyze and deliver reporting to track progress on key marketing strategies.
• Utilize programs to drive traffic for stores and online.
Position Requirements:
• 5+ years of direct marketing with a proven track record in web based marketing methods.
• Deep understanding of full range of online marketing acquisition programs and media alternatives.
• Significant experience in site analytics, on-site search and site functionality.
• Entrepreneurial personality; strong interpersonal and project management skills.
• Flexible, organized, team player.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of fashion and retail marketing.
• Computer proficient: MS Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; Mac Operating System.
