Job Description
CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS:
• Provides disciplined leadership support including setting clear expectations and holding the team and self accountable for results.
• Supports customer focused strategies, policies and programs as measured by Customer Satisfaction, Survey data and verbatim comments.
• Selects, develops and manages performance of Divisional Sales Mangers and Visual Implementation Managers, measured by National Location Scorecard and additional performance reports/scorecards/dashboards.
• Supports the execution of the client’s (brand/business) plan by partnering with them on decisions relative to execution, selling expectations, selling processes, POS enhancements, in-store signing and comuniciation.
• Works closely with the Region Merchandise Optimization Managers to ensure they are knowledgeable on day to day activities that could impact their optimization efforts within their Region.
• Understands the store environment in order to develop sustainable merchandise standards that store management is able to execute.
• Proactively focuses to understand field needs to develop and or ensure communication, brochures and strategies are executable and accurate.
• Develops and manages the monthly sales planner and MSP.
• Develops and manages the holiday planner.
• Responsible for creating collaborative relationships with Retail Field Management, Retail Operations, Clients and other key business partners to build flawless, executable action plans based on strategic approach.
• Provide functional, technical and leadership direction to the field to support and implement the strategic direction.

• Partners with our communication team to ensure the communications are consistent between businesses, they are timely and easy for store associates to understand. Assist with follow up on execution as necessary.

• Partners with clients on all related activities including competitive research, pricing strategies, merchandising changes and is an active member of all line reviews and assortment / reset meetings
• Provides feedback to the client on sales/margin and visual implementation opportunities that are impacting sales and profitability.
Effective Decision Making:
• Works with Retail Service partners to ensure business objectives are being implemented and provides our clients feedback and tracking of results (where possible)
Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree or preferred equivalent
2. Five to seven (5-7) years of related merchandising experience, with a mix of buying, planning and placement responsibilities
3. Retail store experience and strong understanding of retail-related selling and/or retail operating environment
4. Strong analytical skills, including financial analysis capability
5. Ability to effectively drive results through others, including those that are not direct reports
6. Ability to develop strong partnerships
7. Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
8. Strong written and verbal communication skills
9. Ability to travel on a limited basis as required.
