About the Role:
The Art Director helps drive the creative look and feel for our seasonal product launches via photography. The creativity executed by this role is integral in visually communicating product design and brand identity. Your design and art direction combined with the right content drives customer engagement with the brand. Visual content created from this role directly translates the brands marketing needs, ultimately driving revenue for the business. Our goal as a brand is to create impactful, and innovative design for the home and to engage and educate the customer on our key initiatives and our impact to the community
You're excited about this opportunity because you will...
• Operate with a solid grasp of the brand's aesthetic. Elevate and evolve he photo aesthetic & storytelling while supporting the overall brand direction.
• Collaborate with the conception of each season in preparation for the executive presentation by collecting inspirational swipe, locations, set-direction, and talent recommendations. Partner with Photo, Editorial, and Merchant teams on story concepts to support key product initiatives for each season.
• Partner with Producer to manage shoot crew in the studio or on location and lead a shoot efficiently and effectively. Creatively manage shoot with internal team and production partners.
• Collaborate and clearly communicate with Stylist and Photographers to ensure concepts and brand vision are compelling & on the brand.
• Integrate editorial content into print material and collaborate closely with copy team to communicate brand messaging. Concept and design materials related to the catalog, digital marketing, and other direct to consumer collateral.
• Work with production at the earliest stage to ensure the most innovative creative yet cost-effective approach. Design and guide the production of marketing materials from concept to presentation to final execution.
• Understands page layout, type integration, and InDesign. Understands 360 marketing and the integration of content across platforms.

• You have a strong understanding of photo art direction and the ability to lead a team to beautiful, innovative concepts across channels.
• You have a passion for interiors, art, and fashion with a high taste level. You have a keen understanding of current trends, social media, magazines, art, design, and can find the best sources for inspiration, locations, and talent to keep the brand relevant and fresh.
• You have a flexible personality to be able to thrive in the fast-paced, reactive environment. Adept and agile in an evolving landscape of content creation.
• Bachelor's degree in art/design
• 3-5 years of experience in photo art direction, furniture and/or interiors preferred
• Editorial design & photo experience preferred
• Strong storytelling/narrative capability
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Management skills a plus
• Strong time management, communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to multi-task
