AMC Networks International Latin America is looking for a Programmer in Coral Gables, FL.
Position mission
Responsible for supervising and implementing the programming schedule plans for AMC and Sundance within its various feeds. Must be well versed in the interpretation of Ratings data, in addition to having general knowledge of the Latin American and international entertainment industry.
Main functions
• Responsible for the implementation of the scheduling grids -from start to finish- for the different AMC and Sundance feeds. And thus, work closely with VP and Director to ensure scheduling strategies are accurately implemented and overall network vision is achieved.
• Responsible for managing and coordinating scheduling efforts with the team of programmers.
• Responsible for either creating and/or supervising a different set of reports, raging from Metadata information to support everything that relates to content among company areas, to external reports a la Ibope -for content performance measurement- and reports to comply with local regulatory entities i.e. AFSCA, and ANCINE, on a recurring basis.
• Responsible for the VOD planning and in turn generation of the reports used by Traffic and Affiliate clients.
• Expected to foster a solid form of communication with Research, Traffic, Creative, PR, Marketing and commercial teams to ensure a solid flow of Programming information.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree required.
At least 3 years’ experience in related area
Bi-lingual or tri-lingual (Spanish, English, Portuguese) is preferred
