Job Description
Summary: Entry level Supervisory position to assist in completion of construction projects by planning, organizing, and controlling projects; complete quality inspections; supervise sub-contractors and staff
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage sub-contractors by locating, evaluating, and selecting sub-contractors; monitoring and controlling performance.
• Meet operational standards by contributing construction information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying construction management system improvements.
• Meet construction budget by monitoring project expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions; providing non-project annual operating and capital budget information.
• Meet operational standards by contributing construction information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying construction management system improvements.
• Keep all records and documentation updated daily, accessible and organized.
• Ensure that manufacturer's specifications, procedures, and State Regulations are complied with and documented.
• Operate within the policies and procedures of Six Flags.
• Keep a parts inventory, record all used parts and notify supervisors of any parts and materials necessary to ensure safe and continuous operation.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards and ensure rides and attractions are clean and visually in compliance with manufactures specifications, guest and Six Flags expectations.
• Direct, advice and/or work in conjunction with other staff, in a Team environment, solving ride and park related problems.
• Must possess the ability to stand for long periods of time, climb stairs and ladders repeatedly, bend, stoop, twist, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and work overhead using both hands. Assist in ride evacuations, lift fifty pounds without injury and work in the elements. Water park staff must be able to see and identify colors and swim.
• Possess the ability to work at heights above 208' above grade.
• Be able to read, write, add, subtract, work with fractional and decimal system and implement maintenance, safety and inspection procedures.
Skills & Qualifications
• Must be professional, energetic, self-motivated, be able to motivate others, and have a positive attitude.
• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends and holidays a must.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work well under pressure and multi-task.
• College level degree in a business or Maintenance orientated field preferred.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office.
