The Audio Coordinator of HMH Audio will assist in managing audio scheduling, processing paperwork and invoices, coordinate all requirements for recording sessions, and coordinate proofing with the Audio Engineer and Executive Producer of HMH Audio. The coordinator should be passionate about publishing, audio books, and a detail-oriented, organized individual.
Manage audio studio scheduling – keep the production schedules in Firebrand Title Management system, run reporting on scheduling, coordinate the booking of talent, mastering and other external partners. Manage in-house approvals with authors, editors.
Track all corrections to audio books, manage changes in scheduling, season and pub date. Update all documentation
Confirm metadata accuracy for sales and marketing. Generate production timelines in product records, maintain details and work with sales to set up title lengths to help manage pricing to market.
Process all billing associated with external freelancers, talent, and mastering. Manage invoices in a timely fashion to insure accuracy in our P&L.
Coordinate marketing requirements with visiting authors, manage the greenroom, work with marketing and managing ed to print scripts and schedule author visit expectations.
Bachelor’s Degree required
Minimum of (1) years’ experience as in publishing, managing editorial preferred
Publishing Certificate, 2 years’ experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google G-Suite
Meets deadlines, eager to learn, excited by publishing and audiobooks.
Passionate but also detail oriented and interested in learning more about process.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Might be in a stationary position for a considerable time (sitting and/or standing).
• The person in this position needs to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
• Must be able to collaborate with colleagues via face to face, conference calls, and online meetings
