Position Overview
Audit & Advisory Services (A&AS) seeks a bright, motivated, detail-oriented information technology or audit professional for a Senior IT Auditor position in our Portland, OR office. This position will report to the IT Audit Manager and will be part of the audit team overseeing Autodesk’s IT and corporate functions.
Responsibilities
• Effectively complete audit planning, fieldwork and reporting for information technology, information security, system and integrated audit engagements; assess business and technology risks; and the related controls and then provide practical, value-added remediation plans.
• Develop and execute audit programs, prepare audit reports that accurately summarize the most significant control weaknesses and resulting impacts to the organization
• Participate in multiple and simultaneous risk-based audits, while maintaining departmental quality standards. Function as part of a team or operate independently as required
• Represent A&AS on company initiatives and special projects
• Contribute to internal department initiatives, such as training, departmental development and other internal projects, as requested
• Understand Autodesk’s organization and develop relationships to provide value-added solutions and best-practices
• Assist in developing and executing the audit plans focused on the most significant risks in the audit universe
• Assist the SOx team with the documentation and testing of application and IT General controls
• Assist the Audit Data Analytics team with certain system administration activities, such as software installation and upgrades, backup configuration, capacity monitoring and system security hardening
• Successful candidates will be able to leverage their internal audit and risk management skills to raise awareness of existing and evolving information security, financial, operational risks across the Autodesk business
• Strong analytical skills, intellectual flexibility, resourcefulness and creativity are also needed along with the ability to navigate ambiguity and work well within a team environment
• You will be responsible for evaluating business processes and information security capabilities, identifying business risks and making control recommendations that are aligned with company policies, industry standards and best-practices
• Build Collaborative Relationships
• You will be responsible for creating and maintaining productive relationships across the business, including with the Product Security and Information Security, as well as, product teams who may not have previously interacted with A&AS
• Process Innovation
• You will be considered a trusted advisor in aiding business partners in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in business process, information security capabilities. Areas of focus may include SaaS security & controls, SDLC processes, logical access, database and operating system configuration and security, and compliance with corporate information security policies or industry regulations/standards (e.g. SOX, SOC, NIST).
Minimum Qualifications
• A minimum 3-4 years’ experience in IT audit or information security, technology consulting, information technology or systems administration is required
• Limited or no audit experience is acceptable if offset by strong hands-on, real-world, information technology skills; a unique opportunity for an individual interested in transitioning from IT operations to IT audit or a current IT auditor interested in broadening their expertise and experience
• Experience in performing technical assessments and audits of networks, operating systems (Linux/Windows), databases, application security, as well as auditing IT processes
• Knowledge and clear understanding of cloud computing services (AWS); deployment architectures; DevOps processes; and IT governance and delivery frameworks is a plus (e.g. CoBIT, NIST, ISO and ITIL)
• Certifications such as CISSP, GIAC and CISA are preferred. If you do not hold a CISA certification, you will be encouraged to obtain it within a year from hiring
• Must be eligible to work unrestricted in the US
