Job Description
Job Summary:
Responsible for helping to plan and implement guest facing special events, collection of guest visitation data, perform exit sampling and assist with special events related to the Marketing, Group Sales, PR and Corporate Partnership teams. The role will be based at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, and include additional duties at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor in Concord.
Job Duties:
• Assist in developing, planning and implementing consumer facing special events throughout the year
• Help oversee the ATS/GSS team in gathering guest visitation information and as needed collect ATS/GSS surveys
• Assist in creation of signage and park decoration in conjunction with events, special offerings and pricing updates
• Coordinate with Ecommerce and Operations teams in the creation and management of online and in-park offers
• Assist Corporate Partnership team with execution of client programs and exit sampling
• Support PR and Group Sales team with special events and picnic operations
• Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must possess an outgoing personality with a willingness to approach strangers
• Must have strong communication skills
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to work outside in a variety of weather conditions
• Must be comfortable working with handheld devices and utilizing basic computer skills
• Fluency in a second language is a plus
Age Requirements:
• 18 or older
Availability Requirements:
• Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Must be able to work flexible hours
