Position at Taylor Communications, Inc.
Taylor Communications is seeking an Account Manager to manage customer print projects from inception to completion. The Account Manager maintains regular contact with the customer to ensure orders are processed, answer questions and guide customers through product choices and options, provide pricing, order status, address any quality or service concerns, handle complaints or technical questions, and ensure all orders are completed and shipped on time.
Shift Available
• Weekdays, 8 AM – 5 PM
Responsibilities Include:
• Maintains relationships and favorable contacts with current and potential accounts.
• Works with Purchasing and Estimating to ensure proper pricing and materials are set up for incoming jobs.
• Works with other departments including but not limited to PrePress, Screen, Digital, Sheet Fed, Finishing, Kit Packing, and Shipping to ensure the successful completion of all jobs.
• Responsible for ensuring customer orders are received, entered, and processed through the plant accurately while following production processes and procedures.
• Creates and presents customized proposals and programs that meet specific customer requirements in an effective manner.
• May assist in the preparation of sales forecasts, quotes or negotiations.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Resolves customer issues/problems, researches and makes recommendations for potential product enhancements or modifications to improve efficiency and increase sales.
• May direct and lead the work of others.
• Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree, or combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Skilled in Microsoft Office, email communication, and general comfort with learning new computer systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 5+ years’ experience in print production.
• Some previous experience in retail graphics.
• Experience in Monarch
