We are looking for a Programmatic Specialist to join our operations team. You will be a programmatic expert for our internal sales and operations teams as programmatic guaranteed buys become more common for our traditionally direct-sales clients. You must understand how the ecosystem works, how programmatic can work best for Hearst’s clients, and how we will execute programs that are successful for both our clients and Hearst. You will be a technical expert and work closely with others in the sales, operations and account management teams to ensure capabilities are understood, campaigns run correctly and we exceed client expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintain expert understanding of programmatic capabilities at Hearst and industry-wide
• Manage day-to-day operations of programmatic campaigns
• Provide support to our sales and operations teams to plan and execute programmatic campaigns
• Monitor and optimize campaign metrics for delivery and KPIs; provide detailed reporting and recommendations to grow programmatic activity.
• Set up and manage private marketplace deals (deal IDs) in Hearst’s supply-side platforms
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop required reporting and system integrations involving programmatic campaign revenue and delivery
• Serve as a client contact for technical issues
REQUIREMENTS:
• 1-2 years digital media experience: programmatic operations, analytics, sales planning, yield
• Fluency using programmatic supply-side platforms (Google Ad Manager/ADX, Index Exchange, Rubicon)
• Exposed to demand side programmatic platforms / DSPs a plus
• Ability to independently prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines across multiple clients
• Flexible, personable attitude; ability to develop excellent professional relationships with all level of personnel
• Demonstrated experience training groups and/or coaching 1:1 a plus
• Interest in, and aptitude for, digital media and related technology
• BA/BS required
