JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating and updating creative for client digital campaigns that include IAB standard banner ads, Facebook and Instagram Ads/Post, Email blasts, logos, some video content and content for designated Entravision mobile, video/streaming and social media. Reports to EVP, Local Digital.
Essential Functions
1. Identifies, secures, prepares and updates digital content for Online, Mobile, and Social platforms.
2. Creates IAB Standard display banners when needed.
3. Keeps content focused on relevancy for Hispanics.
4. Supports branding, marketing and promoting of the Pulpo brand specifically for the local digital business unit.
5. Assures content is free of errors, typos, and other spelling and grammar mistakes.
6. Avoids broken links, broken images, missing content.
7. Looks for opportunities to improve the way we operate through creativity and hard work.
8. Is aware of the new release of tools and utilizes them.
9. Pursues individual growth, learning, and leadership qualities.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.
Supervisory Responsibility
Reports directly to EVP and GM, Local Digital.
Required Education and Experience
1. Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design/visual communications or related field or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
2. Bilingual English/Spanish writing and translation skills.
3. Expertise in Adobe Creative suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier and After Effects. Excellent creative conceptual design skills.
4. Familiarity with Facebook/Twitter/Instagram ad requirements.
5. Experience using HTML code in order to create Email content for distribution.
6. Basic experience working with content within a CMS (Content Management System) environment such as: WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, Movable Type, or similar, as well as promotional tools like WooBox.
7. Strong conceptual and creative thinking skills, as well as a solid knowledge of typography, color theory, design systems and layout principles.
8. Knowledgeable in current design trends.
9. Ability to follow creative direction, maintain brand standards and work collaboratively. Ability to respond effectively and appropriately to creative feedback.
10. Ability to demonstrate resourcefulness, accountability and outstanding attention to detail.
