Our global Finance and Accounting team believes in investing in the future and is looking for 3 interns to join our Las Vegas-based team this summer with the potential to lead into a year round, part time internship opportunity. This is not your typical internship—our summer interns get hands-on, professional experience over a 10 week program (June 3 – August 9) that will prepare them for a career in one of the following concentrations: accounting, tax, or internal audit.
Come join us, and help provide visibility into how business decisions and results impact our broader, world-wide business strategy to make great games! Internship opportunities/specialties are available in the following areas:
• Accounting Shared Services Intern
◦ Interpret data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and to help perform account reconciliations
◦ Analyze balance sheet accounts to identify aged items and research open items to resolution
◦ Work with Accounting personnel on special accounting and non-accounting projects and assess processes to identify automation opportunities that will improve accuracy, timeliness, and accountability
• Tax Intern
◦ Assist in international compliance relating to the U.S. Federal Corporate Income Tax Return, including completing tax forms 5471 (Information Return of U.S. Persons with Respect to Foreign Corporations) and 8858 (Information Return of U.S. Person with Respect to Foreign Disregarded Entities)
◦ Assist in preparing international calculations related to Tax Reform, including Global Intangible Low-Tax Income (“GILTI”), Base Erosion and Anti-Abuse Tax (“BEAT”), and Foreign-Derived Intangible Income (“FDII”)
◦ Perform other international tax research, tax calculations, and tax filings
• Internal Audit Intern
◦ Evaluate risk by performing business process, financial, information technology, and compliance audit & consulting procedures consisting of interviewing people, observing procedures, examining documentation, documenting business processes/data flows & controls, testing/validating controls, and utilizing computer programs to analyze data
◦ Apply facts obtained from audit procedures to identify control weaknesses and recommend opportunities for improvement
◦ Organize, document, and maintain the results of audit work performed in accordance with professional standards
Position Requirements
Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled with at least Junior or Senior standing in a Bachelor’s program as follows:
◦ Accounting Shared Services Intern – Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance
◦ Tax Intern – Accounting
◦ Internal Audit Intern – Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, Economics, Information Systems, or Math
• Master’s degree a plus
• A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint and Word with an aptitude to learn new computer programs
• Must enjoy working in a collaborative environment
• Demonstrated communication skills (including active listening, writing, presenting, and emotional intelligence)
• Demonstrated analytical skills and an inquisitive mind (including ability to ask curious questions and gather, compile, interpret & analyze data quickly)
• Detail oriented with demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
• Foreign language proficiency is a plus
