Role Summary: As a Talent Management Manager, you will identify, design, and implement various talent and leadership development programs and solutions to increase leadership effectiveness. This role will act as a talent and leadership subject matter expert who partners with HR and the business to identify and implement appropriate solutions, approaches, and methodologies to accelerate leadership and management capabilities.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the end to end accountability for development, implementation and management of critical focused talent and leadership development programs that include succession planning and development planning throughout the organization, aligning with the business goals and objectives
• Create and implement solutions, strategies and tools to support these key Talent and Culture Change initiatives, as well as support the business in achieving Diversity and Inclusion goals
• Lead all aspects of the company’s specific Talent enterprise programs and processes such as: High potential development programs, leadership development, management development, career pathing, change management, providing support to managers and employees in having successful feedback conversations, continuous feedback and improvement loops with employees and the business on the process.
• Design, develop, and deliver/manage learning and development programs/curricula that address enterprise-wide development needs for management and leadership
• Ensure that employees experience and understand talent initiatives as a connected, holistic experience that empowers and enables them to succeed; partner with Communications team to build story and marketing to drive buy-in and understanding; create and operate feedback loops to validate adoption and effectiveness of talent programs and ensure continuous improvement and evolution of our programs and initiatives
• Work closely with the HR Business Partners and the Business Executives to reinforce the merits of ongoing talent and learning initiatives, and succession planning
• Provide guidance and problem solving skills to overcome challenges faced in execution and operation
• Lead cross functional work teams as required to achieve results
• Independently assess organizational capabilities and training/education needs for management and leadership
• Translate business requirements and talent requirements into appropriate programmatic and individualized talent solutions
• Ensures development programs and solutions are relevant and consistently applied
• Identifies, selects, and manages vendors to design and deliver learning programs and talent solutions
• Manages significant complex projects
• Monitor and evaluate the impact/value of talent programs and talent solution
• Utilize talent intelligence to determine needs, establish recommendations, and determine appropriate measures of ROI
• Bachelor's degree required; Master Degree in Industrial/Organization Development preferred
• 3-5 years of talent management / leadership development/employee engagement
• Experience in design, development, delivery of leadership programs
• Experience managing Talent/leadership development programs
• Experience managing/supporting Diversity and Inclusion programs preferred
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to conduct high level needs analysis to identify skill gaps and needs across critical talent segments
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate multi-dimensional concepts in a simple way to diverse audiences
• Ability to conduct complex process facilitation; Experience with virtual delivery and tools preferred
• Ability to grasp new ideas and change direction quickly in a fast-pace environment
• Experience leading and/or facilitating large scale and effective change initiatives while managing pace.
• Excellent communications skills and executive presence to interact effectively with executive and senior management.
• Thrives in an environment that is extremely fast-paced, creative and collaborative yet holds individuals responsible and accountable
• Enthusiastic and creative; a capacity to overcome barriers and make impactful change
• Ability to understand business objectives and their implications for talent
• Ability to conduct needs analysis to identify leadership and management skill gaps and needs
• Ability to design and implement key development processes and programs
• A self-starter; self-motivated, driven and resourceful
• Knowledge of MS Office, with advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, and Adult Learning.
