Job Summary
The Senior Lead Contract Analyst provides expertise in reviewing, drafting and negotiating various forms of contracts as part of the Law Department's Network Legal Team. The role also includes some paralegal functions, including legal research and pre-dispute resolution arising from network operations. Consulting-level, highly technical professional. Expert knowledge of a specialty or professional field and strong business acumen.
Job Description
Reviews, negotiates and drafts non-standard contractual terms and conditions.
• Independently reviews, edits, approves and negotiates revisions requested to certain network contracts, including building entry, franchise, special construction, pole attachment, collocation, tower, easement, dark fiber and similar agreements.
• Negotiates and drafts moderately to highly complex amendments and addenda.
• Serves as an initial point of contact in the Law Department for damage and delay claims, network disputes and real estate matters.
• Provides flexible assistance, as needed, to the Network Legal organization and its internal regulatory, network, real estate and other clients.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university
◦ JD preferred, but not required
• 5+ years of related experience in a corporate or law firm environment with progressive contracts administration responsibility
• Strong analytic skills with ability to interpret complex information and adapt as needed
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
