Job Description
Job Summary:

As the Aquatics Supervisor, you play a vital role in ensuring the best service to our guests on a daily basis. The Aquatics Supervisor enthusiastically oversees the training and operation of the Aquatics department and staff
Job Duties:
• Ensures the park and all ride areas are clean and presentable to guests
• Demonstrate and continually train the Six Flags Mantra of providing Friendly, Clean, Fast, and Safe Service to each Guest
• Make recommendations regarding Team Member hiring, promotions, and corrective action.
• Identify areas for continued improvement; develop and implement strategies to enhance these areas.
• Records hourly ride capacity readings and determine totals
• Address Guest Concerns as they arise in the assigned location.
• Ensure all Training Material is practiced in the workplace including Park, Departmental, and Lifeguard Certifications
• Ensure that Safety and Security Awareness are reinforced and practiced consistently
• Responds to ride downtimes and evacuates guests as necessary
• Initiates emergency procedures when necessary
• Complies with and ensures safe ride operating procedures as outlined in the ride manual
• Resolves Guest issues and addresses Guest concerns regarding safety and park policies
• Must follow Six Flags policies and procedures at all times including Department of Labor Break and Meal Laws.
• Executes any other activities as requested by Senior Supervisor. Department Manager or Director
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must be an Ellis and Associates Licensed Lifeguard and/or Instructor or be able to obtain the proper certifications.
• Must be available Days, Evenings, Overnights (Graveyard), Weekends, and Holidays
• Must have a valid California Driver's License
• The ability to work indoors and outdoors and in all weather conditions
• Must have the ability to stand, walk and run for periods of time, as well as bend, squat, kneel and stoop when needed
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively
• Computer literacy. Strong knowledge of all Microsoft applications
• Good organizational skills, creative, outgoing, detail oriented, and self-motivator
• Must possess two years prior supervisory experience in a related field.
• Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
