Job Description
Must be at least 16 years of age.
JOB PURPOSE:Proactively greet and assist guests while maintaining the cleanliness of the midways, restrooms, and patios in an assigned area of the park or campground.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure the safety of both guests and employees is the highest priority.
• Interact with guests while providing sincere and genuine hospitality. Proactively seek opportunities to offer recommendations and suggestions to guests on planning their day.
• Respond to guest comments and resolve guest concerns in a friendly, non-offensive manner.
• Continuously sweep midways and patios. Squeegee puddles when necessary.
• Pick planters and grassy areas, knock down cob webs, wash and dry benches and trash cans, and polish drinking fountains.
• Remove bags from trash cans and transport to dumpster/compactor. Maintain cleanliness around compactors.
• Maintain and upkeep supply closet and inventory sheets.
• Maintain restroom cleanliness
• Clean and dry floors, toilet bowels, counter tops and mirrors.
• Stock paper products and soap.
• Ensure dispensers, dryers, and faucets are operational.
• Pick trash up and remove trash bags from around the grounds.
• Pick up trash during picnic events
• Cleaning bathrooms during picnic events
• Aid catering in after event cleaning of picnic grove
• Maintain cleanliness of the parking lot
• Maintain cleanliness of the picnic pavilions
• Assist lost children and parents.
• Report safety and quality issues including broken boards, loose fence rails, peeling paint, burned-out light bulbs.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Good interpersonal skills and a polite and courteous disposition.
• Possession or in pursuit of a High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain attention-to-detail.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read, interpret, and adhere to instructions and restrictions described in Material Safety Data Sheets.
• Minimum of 16 years of age.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays.
