JOB SUMMARY
Working closely with the direct marketing and database teams, you will build processes and develop metrics and reporting to validate marketing data used in residential direct marketing campaigns, including direct mail, email, and bill marketing. Through interrogation and analysis you will validate data and develop valuable insights that will ensure data quality and enhance go to market strategies.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and execute consistent, repeatable quality control audit processes for marketing data through inspection and validation, ensuring that all data output for direct marketing lists and segments is accurate
• Develop close relationships with the marketing database team to understand and scrutinize database logic in order to identify potential gaps and improve market coverage, and establish data standards, trends and insights across all tactics
• Build and maintain data views for customers and prospects, including subscriber reports that align campaign quantities with company metrics
• Understanding the intake and application of all marketing data used in direct marketing campaigns, including data from marketing databases, marketing science teams, billing systems, and any other sources
• Recommend new approaches for segmentation of prospect and customer files using existing data
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including excellent Excel (Pivot table) skills
• Ability to apply logical thinking to solve data problems
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and accountability
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage all phases of multiple projects from beginning to end with sufficient autonomy
• Ability to work well with people from all levels of the organization, many different disciplines and varying degrees of technical and business experience
• Ability to make decisions and resolve problems while working under pressure
Education
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related discipline and/or an equivalent experience
Related Work Experience
• Marketing management; 5+ years
• Project Management; 5+ years
• Data management; 5+ years
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in direct marketing preferred
• Knowledge of cable television, high speed Internet and phone products and services preferred
