Job Description
KXTV ABC10, the TEGNA station and ABC affiliate in Sacramento, California is seeking a Technical Operator. The successful candidate will operate our master control automation system and monitor broadcast signals in accordance with FCC rules and regulations.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be trained on, and be responsible for, day to day master control operations and programming of our Crispin automation system. Also will be trained to operate file-based delivery systems, satellite receivers and ENG microwave systems.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
• Two years of experience with television or radio master control operations preferred.
• Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft products required.
• Must be dependable and willing to learn and adapt to new technologies including IP based video and broadcast systems.
• Must be able to work a varied schedule that can include weekends and overnight hours.
