Job Description
Are you someone that loves to dig into research and help produce original content and content focused on investigative journalism? If so we have the perfect summer internship for you. We are looking for an intern to work side by side with our Investigative and Special Projects units.
This is a hands on dynamic internship, in a fast paced environment; where you work with industry leading professionals.
WKYC offers paid internships for college students interested in Careers in Broadcasting and Digital Media. Depending on your focus, assignments would include working side by side with experienced journalists in storytelling, videography, digital and social media. In our sales and marketing operations students learn sales strategy and marketing skills.
Job Requirements
Our program requires interns to receive college credit and proof of enrollment. We prefer students to have a minimum 3.0 GPA in their major course of study. There will be internship opportunities available each quarter/semester in 2018. Internships will cover a quarter/semester at approximately 20 hours per week, with a schedule to be arranged by the intern and the intern’s mentor. Hours may vary based on station events and activities.
