OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANYFox Networks Digital Consumer Group
Fox Digital Consumer Group (DCG) is a strategic business unit within Fox Networks Group (FNG). The group’s focus is the development of TV and long-form, video-centric products that bring Fox’s content to more consumers. This includes the continued innovation of Fox’s existing TV Everywhere products, including FXNOW, FOX NOW, Nat Geo TV and Fox Sports Go, as well as the creation of brand-new consumer propositions.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Product Manager you will be responsible for defining and driving product strategy and initiatives with leadership across the organization, working amongst multiple cross-functional teams to implement features and solutions across platforms, and partner with other Product Managers to oversee client development across web, mobile, and living room. You will report to the VP, Product Management, FOX and be the day-to-day leader that works in close collaboration with the platform engineering & marketing teams of FOX and the business leadership of FOX News.
You will be expected to envision and execute original product concepts that enable FOX News to stand out from the competition and that leverage emerging technologies and consumer preferences, as well as ensuring that the work delivered from the team has a positive impact on revenues.
What You Will Need
• A deep passion for news and digital consumer technology.
• At least five years of experience driving product strategy and implementation.
• Experience across multiple distribution platforms with an emphasis on mobile (iOS and Android) and Web.
• Strong collaboration skills with engineering and business teams.
• Experience delivering innovative usage of data, statistics, and graphics in product.
• Experience with both live and video on demand products.
• Editorial insight.
• Ability to drive and influence business decisions based on data and metrics.
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced and highly entrepreneurial environment.
• Understanding business models.
• Create a collaborative culture with other product management capabilities at FOX.
• Managing complex projects and roll outs in fixed timeframes and to budget.
• Obsessive about product performance and detail.
• Ability to inspire, motivate and lead.
• Ability to communicate well, in both small and large groups.
• Turn abstract ideas into user-friendly features.
