Overview
The Account Representative 2, supporting the Independent Dealers, is the primary liaison to the Independent Dealers for all aspects of lease transactions as well as credit application submission and processing activities. The position is responsible to provide extraordinary training & customer service to Independent Dealers while working within a team environment.
Responsibilities
• Sales oriented and high sense of urgency attitude
• Place outbound sales calls to Independent Dealers within assigned territory to understand their leasing behavior and persuade them to use Canon’s services
• Solicit new CFS leasing relationships in the Independent Dealer Channel and to grow market share within assigned territory
• Promotes best in class service throughout the servicing platform through cradle to grave ownership, escalating to department management as needed
• Educate Dealers to understand and use Canon Financial Services leasing programs
• Develop relationships with Canon Division counterparts (Territory Sales Executives, Account Representatives, Administrators, etc.)
• Deliver webinars, and presentations as required
• Communicate CFS leasing process to dealers
• Work closely with management to assist with the development, implementation and tracking of marketing campaigns and promotions within the Independent Channel
• On board new dealer relationships within assigned territories
• Facilitate CFS lease origination process from start to finish, including updates from dealers and end-user customers on all transactions, coordination with support areas
• Update core systems based on business activity, SalesForce.com, Rapport, InfoLease, etc.
• Quote upgrade and buyout figures
• Effective and efficient gathering of all necessary information, if applicable, from the customer profile and dealer input.
• Responsible for responding timely to rate inquiries, validate soft costs, and able to quote all non-standard rates structures to dealers.
• Responsible for all inbound telephone calls, emails, web portal, and facsimile transmissions involving customer credit applications. Ensure all systems are commented accurately and in real time.
• Responsible for all input, follow up activities, and communication on credit applications submitted by Independent Dealers.
• Responsible to work in team environment with Credit Risk Analysts to properly and timely decision all credit applications.
• Build, maintain and navigate working relationships with individuals internally and externally.
• Exercises a certain degree of latitude and creativity, based on prior experiences, to effectively service our dealers.
• Communicate with Collection Staff to determine causes of delinquency on existing customer applications.
• Partner with Documentation Administrators to support term and condition modifications.
• Assists Documentation with researching and validating data along with follow up activities.
• Partner with Portfolio Management / Customer Service to escalate and manage customer issues raised through Independent Dealers.
• Able to resolve issues coming directly from the Relationship Manager in the field – credit appeals, billing issues, bids, etc.
• Consistently meet all goals consistent with your position level requirements as set forth by Canon Financial Services.
• Participates in other projects, as assigned by manager.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience required
• 2+ years outbound telephone dealer sales experience required
• 2+ years equipment leasing experience required
