Leadership Security Position
Senior Supervisor
Six Flags Fiesta Texas is seeking energetic and positive talent who effectively supervises and leads park security team members through day-to-day security operations strives for excellence while serving our Team Member.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
• Supervises 150 team members to plan, organize and direct security force operations during operating and non-operating conditions, police officer manned traffic control points and walking patrols, parking lot operations, guest screening, park patrol, ranger station, and during special events
• On-scene command and control of responding security units
• Oversees completion of Random Anti-Terrorism Measures and park entry and exit point checks for employees
• Monitors security effectiveness, councils team members as needed, makes on the spot corrections and resolves employee/guest disciplinary matters; including hiring/terminations and ejections
• Nominates team members for recognition, as appropriate
• Oversees department scheduling process and labor management
• Develops and administers department orientation, ancillary training, and proficiency for 125 team members
• Oversees the auditing process
• Maintains current corporate, park and department training aids/audits checklists
• Coordinates and executes training opportunities with outside agencies
• Resolves Guest Satisfaction Survey and Guest Service Recovery
• Acting Manager On-Duty when scheduled
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST POSSESS:
• At least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
• At least 1 year of Security experience with valid State of Texas Level II Security License or ability to obtain
• Must have good oral and written communication skills and must have good conflict resolution skills. Must be skilled at situational analysis and decision making be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Must have a valid State Driver's License and Successfully complete Park Drivers Training Program
• Discrete approach to sensitive, confidential and complex guest relations issues
• Demonstrated strong written/verbal communication and facilitation/presentation skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills
• Intermediate Computer skills in Excel and Word
• Strong sense of initiative and ability to work well with limited supervision
