Job Description
Description: Darien Lake is looking for a highly-motivated, organized individual to assist the Group Sales Department and serve as chief liaison for all events related to group sales.
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
• To provide general sales support and provide back-up to the efforts of all Sales reps and Sales Manager.
• Assist with daily events which are primarily outdoors such as picnics, weddings, Scout events, etc.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM & POS.
• Meet and communicate with catering department to review and update any catering changes daily.
• Meet with Picnic clients on the day of their event to assist with any needs.
• Hang signs for group outings on the day of events.
• Work with the Sales Department to coordinate events and assist in all aspects where necessary.
• Follow up with sales clients via telephone and email.
• Entering menu and ticket orders into Salesforce and Group Sales Systems
• Assist in any additional projects as directed by Sales Manager
• Assist in daily group sales tasks
• Assist as needed in main gate Group Sales ticket booth
Qualifications:
• Excellent strategic and creative thinking capabilities.
• Ability to plan, organize and complete multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work all weekends and non-traditional hours in season.
• Ability to problem solve fast and effectively.
Start Date: Mid-Late April
End Date: Early/Late Fall
