Part-Time Promotions Assistant

IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR PART-TIME PROMOTION ASSISTANT
Cumulus Media’s 2 Bridgeport, CT stations (WEBE/WICC) seeks outgoing, hardworking, creative individuals to join our promotions team.
General Responsibilities
• Reports to the Director of Promotions
• Clerical Duties
• Working on location at radio station events, live broadcasts, concerts and client events
• Assist in planning, organizing & execution of promotional events and digital campaigns
• Execute proper technical and physical set-up and breakdown of remote broadcasts and station events; ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues on the fly
• Represent station at events in an update, outgoing and friendly manner
• Date entry of Promotional events and contesting
• Create e-blasts, social media posts & website posts; review promotional information and graphics
• Inventory and maintenance of prize closet, calendars, events for current and upcoming promotions
• Assisting the Promotions and Marketing Department with projects as needed in the office
• Assist with vehicles inspections, fuel and coordinating maintenance
• Ability to drive station vehicles with attached trailer
• Maintain and storage of station equipment
• Responsible for procuring all prize giveaways and submitting promotional proposals for giveaways, scheduling on-air giveaways via the VCreative prizing system, as well as produce recaps after conclusion of promotion
• Other daily duties include website management, including updating of station contests, and other promotions for station sites; prize management via the VCreative prizing system
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Must be 18 years or older and possess a valid Driver’s License with an excellent driving record
• Must be comfortable driving large vehicles, stations vans, SUVs and RVs
• College preferred. High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Computer literacy in applicable programs including Photoshop, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Ability to work flexible hours including all day parts, weekends, and holidays
• Must be creative
• Ability to quickly learn and navigate web-based, company-wide software systems
• Ability to problem-solve and prioritize
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Ability to communicate well and work with others
• Self-motivated
