The job:
Manage magazine fulfillment vendor relationships and coordinate with Synapse business units to ensure accurate, timely magazine fulfillment processing. Responsible for the day-to-day fulfillment operations including; reporting, reconciliations, delivery of order files, remit payments, preparation of fulfillment packages and fulfillment reject recovery. Oversee two off-shore team members and manage relationships with 40+ fulfillment vendors. Also responsible for data entry / maintenance in internal database.
You will:
• Manage fulfillment process, including report generation and analysis, remit reconciliation, generation of order recap reporting, extracting and mailing fulfillment files, collation of checks, order detail and customer data to be sent for fulfillment.
• Manage relationships with 40+ fulfillment vendors to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Oversee off-shore team of two, who perform reporting, reconciliation and analysis fulfillment functions.
• Act as a liaison between the magazine fulfillment vendors, Publisher Relations, Customer Service, IT Application Support, Production Operations and Accounting.
• Manage rejected order process, including CDS Portal entries. Includes reject analysis, tracking, reject resolution and reprocessing direction.
• Magazine and fulfillment data entry / maintenance and contract generation from internal database.
You have:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Must be extremely organized, detail oriented with excellent follow-up skills.
Must possess strong written and verbal communications skills.
Must be able to work independently.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Microsoft Excel mandatory.
Database experience a plus.
Magazine fulfillment / publishing experience a plus.
