Account Manager- Audience Targeting
I. Job Summary
Major goals and objectives.
This position assists the team in development of data-based marketing programs for Meredith clients in collaboration with Meredith Digital, Meredith Corporate Sales, Meredith Brand Licensing, sales for each Meredith brand and special units (Parents Custom, Travel, Hispanic Ventures, and others), and Local Brands groups.
This position supports the team in managing daily operations of external data managers charged with selling Meredith data to large scale direct marketers.
This position works closely across all internal and external clients to monetize Meredith’s data assets to guide, implement, and support ongoing client programs. Programs focus on data use for consumer targeting and attribution across digital ad display, newsletters, email and direct mail campaigns, and analytics including profiling and modeling.
Knowledge of digital, DMP, and CRM data is preferred, along with a thorough understanding of effective marketing practices for each data type and campaign goal, as well as understanding or experience with the technology and tools to execute campaigns.

• Work with sales teams to recommend consumer targeting for omni-channel campaigns

III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements| All must be met to be considered.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required, preference given to marketing degrees.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years email, digital display, or direct mail marketing experience. Experience working with outside client projects preferred.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of digital marketing and DMP platforms along with direct mail and email marketing, social marketing or behavioral ad targeting – disciplines that use data for targeting decisions.
Superior communication and collaboration skills and ability to work directly with clients. Analytical skills, including the ability to understand list selection and database analytics. Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to use specific database tools for accessing Meredith data.
