We are looking for a Demand Generation Associate to join our growing marketing team. The Demand Generation Associate will report to the Manager of Demand Generation in NYC and will be a driving force behind the development and execution of integrated campaigns. The campaigns will drive new pipeline opportunities, support existing customer growth, and increase brand awareness across the Americas. The person in this role will work cross-functionally with the sales organization as well as product and portfolio marketing managers to deliver successful programs and initiatives. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and organized with a strong desire to learn.
Responsibilities
• Work with marketing leadership to develop a demand creation plan that supports marketing objectives for sourced and influenced revenue
• Collaborate on acquisition and engagement programs, and ensure final tactic selection is appropriate for program design
• Partner with Product Marketing to identify audience requirements and to collect insight into what is and isn’t working to drive future requirements
• Responsible for executing integrated demand and lead nurture programs that build a pipeline of sales-ready leads
• Ensure campaign alignment with product marketing and development initiatives, external market trends, competitor moves, and field feedback to continually improve results
• Manage aggressive lead generation project timelines, ensuring that all activities occur as planned and that campaigns are executed on time, including scheduling, design, production and distribution
• Evaluate, set and manage deliverables to ensure campaigns are executed on schedule and on budget
• Develop short-form content for email campaigns, landing pages, scripts, case studies, blogs and social media as needed
• Develop documentation for sales and other business partners that articulates demand generation program details (campaigns) such as objectives, target audience, key messages, program tactics and timing, and present/introduce this information to business functions
• Provide recommendations on where improvements can be made
• Support creation of lead development tools for inbound campaigns, such as phone scripting and email templates
• Act as a liaison with sales and partner with them to drive the conversion of qualified leads into opportunities
• Improve demand generation, lead nurturing efficacy, and ROI through a focus on marketing analytics
• Report campaign effectiveness and communicate business results
• Enable sales team members by helping them leverage campaigns and prospect engagement tools
• Assess feedback and input from sales and business leaders on what messages will influence our target market
• Submit and manage an annual budget
• Day-to-day campaign management
• Manage and maintain content library
• Other duties and activities as assigned
Experience and Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience driving and/or taking a lead role in demand generation programs
• Experienced at defining campaign objectives, writing briefs and execution of all types of deliverables
• Must possess exceptional written and oral communications skills
• Very strong project management skills
• Must be highly organized, detail oriented and self-motivated
• Self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and achieve measurable results
• Team player, with consensus building skills
• Demonstrated strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills required as well as proficiency with the MS Office suite
• Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools, preferably Marketo and Salesforce
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
• 1-3 years’ relevant B2B marketing experience with an emphasis on demand generation
