Forbes is currently seeking a Recruiter to join our Human Resources team here in Jersey City, NJ. This position reports to our Talent Acquisition Director and will be an integral part of our Human Resources team. Responsibilities will include full cycle recruiting, on-boarding, and HR administration duties.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with our Talent Acquisition Director and hiring managers to clearly understand requirements of open roles and create an effective recruitment strategy for each role.
• Execute sourcing strategies aimed at generating candidate flow to meet overall recruiting goals.
• Continue to build and maintain a sourcing pipeline and candidate pool via LinkedIn Recruiter, social media, research, etc.
• Screen candidates to gauge skills, interest level, salary range, etc.
• Manage scheduling and facilitation of interviews with hiring managers.
• Build and maintain meaningful partnerships with both hiring managers and prospective candidates.
• Execute onboarding for new hires including uploading new hire information in database and coordinating with internal teams and hiring managers to ensure a timely new hire set-up
• Develop a strong understanding of the Forbes culture.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation within the company’s ATS.
• Ensure compliance with company’s hiring policies and practices.
• Assist with ad-hoc HR projects and tasks as needed
Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree required.
• 4+ years of experience in a high volume, strategic sourcing role (Talent Acquisition Recruiter/Manager)
◦ In house Media Company experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of LinkedIn Recruiter and ATS systems.
• Strong knowledge of creative sourcing techniques.
• Relentless drive to find, engage and connect with top talent.
• Proven experience to track and maintain pipeline for hard to fill roles.
• Ability to creatively connect and effectively communicate with candidates at all levels.
• Demonstrated knowledge of full life cycle recruiting, including: sourcing, qualifying, networking, and relationship management.
• Ability to adapt to change and pivot with a growing business.
