Airbnb for Work is putting together a highly motivated sales team to acquire companies, including all professionals within them, and drive usage of Airbnb for Work. Companies can be the next virality channel for Airbnb by better merchandising all Airbnb offerings, including experiences, meeting spaces and travel. As the Regional Lead, you are responsible for the overall success of Airbnb for Work and all sales teams and activities within North, Central and South America.
Role & Responsibilities
• Sales
◦ Lead the Americas sales (market) teams and be responsible for ensuring the success of the team and their attainment of targets.
◦ Work in conjunction with Market Managers to develop the account executive vertical teams
◦ Drive business process improvements and standardization to the sales process.
◦ Build and execute account management strategies for clients.
◦ Develop use case strategies to optimize and grow value of current customers.
◦ Work in conjunction with emerging market manager to continue to unlock LATAM growth.
• Partnerships
◦ Work with global Channel Lead (services & TMC’s) to develop and execute a global partnership strategy within Airbnb for Work.
◦ Ensure alignment with broader Channel strategy
◦ Identify key growth opportunities through services and TMC partnerships that align with our product goals/mission.
◦ Work cross functionally with the global market teams (including product, marketing, business development) to share insights, learnings and regional strategic perspectives.
Requirements
• 10+ years prior experience selling SaaS, travel lodging products or Corporate booking solutions.
• An extensive network of clients where you have sold corporate travel solutions in the past.
• Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task with excellent organization skills.
• Pays attention to both details and macro-level outcomes.
• Seasoned internal and external communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Comfort with a fast-paced environment and changing requirements. Startup experience is a plus.
• Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty and ambiguity.
• Data driven, can do attitude, strategic thinker and passion for new products and solutions.
• Comfortable with Excel, Google Docs, Salesforce CRM, and other technology solutions for driving sales.
